Chinese smartphone major, Xiaomi will kick-off the Redmi 1S flash sale again on 21 September at online store Flipkart.
The company has reportedly confirmed (via official Facebook page) that there will be up to 1,00,000 units up grabs. Xiaomi fans in order to get their hands on the device have to register themselves at Flipkart.

It has to be noted that getting registered will not guarantee the device on flash sale day, as it all depends on user traffic when the sale kicks-off on Tuesday, 2:00 pm.
Users are advised to open their respective Flipkart account much (probably a couple of hours) before the flash sale time, and once the countdown hits zero, click buy button. If history is any guide, the flash sale will be over in a few seconds. Besides Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale, all other previous flash sales have gotten over in less than 14 seconds.
Last week, the company held a contest inviting Xiaomi fans to send jokes, which involves use of 'Mi' in the phrase and those lucky winners (numbering 40) will get priority passes for the upcoming Redmi 1S flash sale.
Besides this, there have been numerous complaints by Xiaomi fans at the community forums about miscreants using illegal means to buy Redmi 1S despite the rule being only one device per one Flipkart account.
Taking the cognizance of the report, Flipkart is using new algorithm, which is intuitive enough to automatically block select consumers, who use illegal means (like scripts or browser extensions) to purchase the device repeatedly and sell them for exorbitant prices at online classified websites.
[Note: Registration for 21 October flash sale will be open to public till 23:59 pm today (20 September) at Flipkart. Even those registered users who missed out on buying the Xiaomi phone on 14 September must have to re-apply].
