The long-rumoured Xiaomi Mi5, which is likely to debut later this month, is expected in come in two variants, says a new report from the company's home market China.
Technology blog My Drivers, citing sources, has claimed that Xiaomi Mi5 will be launched in two models -- one with 2.5D glass shield front-and-back having metal-frame and full-HD (1080x1920p) display and another top-end version with full metal body and QHD (2560x1440p) screen.
Apparently both the Xiaomi Mi5 variants will sport the same 5.2-inch size display, but differ in terms of RAM and storage capacity. From what we have gathered, the full HD based phone will have 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, whereas the high-end QHD Mi5 model is said to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB memory space. The remaining features are said to be the same.
It is learnt that Xiaomi Mi5 models will house 16MP camera on the rear-side, 13MP snapper on the front and a massive 3600 mAh battery with Quick Charge v3.0 technology.
Finger-print sensor is also confirmed to come packed in the home button, but it is yet to be ascertained whether it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sense ID 3D finger-print technology like Letv Le Max Pro or some other security system.
