Chinese smartphone-maker Xiaomi is hosting the company's first open sale of Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 on April 27 in India.
The company has been hosting flash sale of Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5 since their launch in March and April first week, respectively. Now, prospective customers can directly buy the devices without going through registration process and also need not fret about completing the purchase transaction within a prescribed time limit.
Xiaomi's open sale will go live on the company's official e-commerce site (HERE) later this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
The flagship phone Mi 5 flaunts a 5.15-inch full HD display with physical home button, which also doubles up as the fingerprint-based screen unlock system and runs latest Android Marshmallow OS based MIUI v7.0 backed by 1.8GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage.
It also boasts a 16MP Sony IMX298 camera on the back, a 4MP front snapper and a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD screen and comes with 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB in-built storage, Android v5.1.1 Lollipop-based MIUI v7.0 OS, Snapdragon 652 hexa-core SoC (System-on-Chip), a 16MP primary camera, 5MP snapper on the front and a high-capacity 4050mAh battery, which can keep the device running for close to 22 days under standby mode.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants – 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB memory -- and costs Rs.9,999 and Rs.11,999, respectively. Whereas, the Mi 5 will set you back by Rs. 24,999.
