A promotional video of Xiaomi Mi5 has been leaked online and it gives a glimpse of the rumoured device's design language.
The 27-second-long clip first surfaced on Chinese social media site Weibo. In the video (courtesy, TimesNews.uk), we see the snow white hued Xiaomi Mi5 variant placed on the wood-based docking station.
It features thin rectangular metallic ring on the home button and on top we see the single grille speaker with front-camera placed towards the right side and light sensor to the left.
It is believed that the home button will house a fingerprint scanner, but in the demo video, the presenter drags finger up on the display to unlock the screen.
Though the video does not give any clue with regard to the existence of the biometric technology in Xiaomi Mi5, there are numerous credible reports to believe the presence of fingerprint sensor.
This leaked video is too short and is most likely to be a small part of the promo clip.
In a related development, another spy who goes by the moniker Sea wind rain on Weibo has posted a series of Xiaomi Mi5 poster revealing that the device will come in three colour variants -- black, gold, pink and white.
