Xiaomi Mi5 presentation slides leaked online; complete specifications revealed ahead of launch

With less than a week left for the launch of Xiaomi Mi5, the device's complete specification list has surfaced online inciting excitement among fans.

Technology blog GizChina has reportedly got hold of the Xiaomi Mi5 presentation slides, which were supposed to be officially presented on Feb. 24 in Beijing

According to the leaked document, Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to come in two variants – one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 16MP primary camera, and another is said to house 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt memory and a 26MP camera with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and F1.6 aperture.

The rest of the features are said to be the same in both the models. They come with 5.2-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 3000 mAh battery, NFC (Near Field Communication), Type C USB v3.0 and dual-SIM slots.

Most of the features mentioned above are in line with the previous reports, but it has one anomaly. It says that the Xiaomi Mi5 display will come with 5.2-inch full HD resolution casting doubts over the authenticity of the leaked document. The QHD (aka 2K: 2560x1440p) display resolution is the industry norm for flagship smartphones and Xiaomi is unlikely to exclude it specially after taking more than year and half to develop Mi5. 

We urge our readers to take this report with a pinch of salt. Since Xiaomi Mi5 launch is on Feb. 24, the company is expected to tease key features of the device in the coming days.
