Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi unveiled the Mi5's official cover case ahead of the device's launch on Feb. 24.
The Xiaomi Mi5 protective cover case is transparent and measures 0.45 mm in thickness. It also gives away clues with regard to positions of camera module and the fingerprint sensor. As previously reported, the primary camera will be placed on the top left corner. The absence of additional circular space hints that the biometric sensor will be incorporated on the home button in the front display panel.
So far, the company has officially confirmed that Xiaomi Mi5 will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, dual-SIM slots (4G) and NFC (Near Field Communication).
From what we have gathered, Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to come in two variants – one having QHD (2560x1440p) and full HD (1920x1080p) displays.
