Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has reportedly confirmed that it will release the much-awaited Mi4 in India, later this month.
Xiaomi India head, Manu Jain, at the Mi Note launch event in Beijing on 15 January, confirmed to The Economic Times that the company would launch the Xiaomi Mi4 in India on 28 January.

Like other Xiaomi devices, Mi4 will also be made available via Flipkart's weekly flash sale and the price of the flagship phone (16 GB) may be between ₹17,000 and ₹20,000.
Xiaomi has planned on setting up its own e-shop website similar to the company's Chinese business model later this year, and has also set a target of launching 100 exclusive physical stores (with experience zone) across India.
In a related development, Xiaomi has reportedly signed a lease agreement with Cessna Business Park in Bengaluru, for 20,000 square feet of office space so as to set up an R&D facility.
"We plan to have it operational by Q2 (second quarter) 2015. So by April or May, the development center should be up and running," The Economic Times quoted Manu Jain as saying.
