The Redmi Note 4G also justifies its price tag but if it would be great if you can spend 4,000 Rs. More and grab an MI3 instead of Redmi Note 4G. The killer hardware combination of MI3 makes it an ideal budget smartphone for the performance hungry consumers.
In our earlier benchmarking test Xiaomi MI3 achieved 18355 in Ice Storm Extreme gaming benchmarking test by beating Sony Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 and even Apple iPhone 6 Plus. The Xiaomi MI3 also achieved 36294 and 4532 in our Antutu and Antutu 3D Rating Benchmarking test, outstanding again considering the price tag.
MIUI
MIUI is a community driven developer's forum responsible for developing the operating system interface, custom tools, utilities and widgets for the MI series phones. The strength of a community driven developer forum is fast building capability, quick debugging and rapid improvisation of the codes to facilitate consumers a great user interface. And that is the key USP of smartphone makers like Xiaomi and OnePlus. Both the communities involve their users (read geeks) and make a part of the process to offer the best user experience to the consumers.
Unibody Design
The Xiaomi MI3 sports a unibody aluminium magnesium alloy frame coated with 3 layers of thermal graphite. It also comes with an impressive 8.1mm of thickness which makes it an elegant looking device. Weighing 145g the MI3 feels a little heavy in hand but considering the build quality, feel and looks of the device, you can't really expect a price tag under Rs. 20,000. Xiaomi is offering the MI3 just at Rs. 13,999, which is nothing but a throw away price.
