Though both the firms are mum on the sudden price-cut on the Moto G & X, many in the tech-circle believe that the newly released feature-rich Xiaomi Mi3 might be the prime reason behind the discount offer on the Motorola devices.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi Mi3 made a phenomenal debut in the Indian smartphone market, with stocks flying out of the shelves in a jiffy. On 29 July, the device got sold out in a record 5 seconds time, much faster than the sale on 22 July, where in the stocks ran out under 39 minutes. [For more information, click here]
Xiaomi Mi3's low price-tag of ₹13,999 may bring out a false impression on novice consumer that this might be just another mid-range phone, but in reality, Mi3 is far more superior than Moto X and Moto G in terms of the specifications and has enough tricks in its sleeves to match Samsung Galaxy S4 and Google Nexus 5.
