As promised, Xiaomi launched the advanced version of the feature-rich phablet, dubbed as Mi Max Prime in India on October 10.
Key difference between the original Mi Max and Prime model, is that the former comes with 3GB RAM+32GB storage+Snapdragon 650 hexa-core CPU configuration for Rs. 14,999, whereas the latter variant comes with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage+ Snapdragon 652 octa-core for Rs. 19,999.
Rest of the features such as screen, resolution, battery capacity and camera hardware remain same in both the devices.
They sport a 6.4-inch full HD display, a fingerprint sensor on the back, a 4,850mAh battery, an 16MP primary camera with dual-LED flash on the back, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and a 5MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

The new Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is scheduled to on go sale via Mi.com on October 17, the very same day, the company launches special Mi Diwali sale in India.
