Chinese consumer electronics major Xiaomi is planning to launch a new phablet Mi Max in India later this month.
Xiaomi's budget phablet Redmi Note 3 received an overwhelming response in India. More than 6 lakh units were sold in two months after the launch, making it the best selling device for the company until now. Now, Xiaomi via Facebook has confirmed to host an event in New Delhi on June 30 to announce price and availability details of the mid-range Mi Max.
For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi Max was originally unveiled in China in May. It comes in three variants based on RAM+storage+CPU configurations.
The high-end model comes with 4GB RAM+128GB+Snapdragon 652 octa-core CPU, whereas the other two variants feature 3GB RAM+32GB+Snapdragon 650 and 3GB RAM+64GB+Snapdragon 650 CPU, respectively. The rest of the features remain the same in all three models.
They flaunt all-metal shell on the back and sport a massive 6.44-inch full HD display, fingerprint sensor, 4,850mAh battery, a feature-rich 16MP primary camera with dual-LED flash on the back, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), a 5MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
