LeEco announced Saturday that it is launching LeEco Day v2.0 in India to offer another chance to its fans to take advantage of attractive offers and deals. LeEco's home-rival Xiaomi has also announced its Mi Fan Festival in India where it will be offering steep discounts on its phones and accessories. LeEco Day runs through two days on April 7 and 8, while Xiaomi gets an early head-start with its Mi Fan Festival to be held on April 6.
Since both sales are happening on different days, shoppers can take advantage of both LeEco Day and Mi Fan Festival. Let's take a look at what these tech giants have to offer indivisually.
Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival (April 6)
Xiaomi celebrates its birthday each year with Mi Fan Festival, which according to the company is "every Mi Fan's biggest opportunity to get fantastic deals from Mi." The Mi Fans Festival is divided into six categories, offering various deals ranging from open flash sales and festival bundles to freebies.
Ahead of the festival, Xiaomi is planning to reveal a special mystery offer on April 5. So watch the space for more information.
During the festival, Xiaomi will host three flash sales at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. for Mi 5, Redmi Note 3 and 20,000mAh Mi power banks. All products will be available without registrations and in an open sale. There are offers on phone accessories, such as Rs 50 off on protective case with Redmi Note 3 purchase and Mi Protect at Rs 499 with Mi 5 purchase.
The Mi 5 is priced at Rs 24,999, the Redmi Note 3 16GB and 32GB are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively and finally Mi Power Bank costs Rs 1,699 during Mi Fan Festival.
Xiaomi is also launching new products as a part of the sale on April 6, including Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro, Mi LED Light Enhanced and Mi USB Cables 120cm, all of which will be available in an open sale 8 a.m. onwards.
The Chinese tech giant is offering bundle discounts. The Fitness Bundle, which includes Mi Band and Mi In-Ear headphones costs Rs 1,598, Festival Freebie gets a free pair of Mi In-Ear headphones basic with Mi 4i and Mi Pad purchases.
Finally, the company will also be conducting games and contests for its fans via Mi Store App where coupons worth Rs 7 crore are expected to be distributed. The coupons will be valid only for one day on April 6 and applicable on Mi accessories purchased via Mi Store App.
LeEco Day (April 7-8)
As the Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival concludes, LeEco will commence its second round of LeEco Day super offers carnival. LeEco is expected to announce two major offers Thursday and Friday. The first "mega" offer is expected to be revealed Sunday, while another "bumper" will be revealed Monday, according to the Flipkart offer page.
LeEco Day 2.0 is expected to be bigger than the first sale it hosted in February, which received a grand response. The Chinese Internet conglomerate will host the new sale on Flipkart and those who are looking to exchange their old phones can get up to 90 percent off on purchasing new Superphones.
The company said during the LeEco Day 2.0, buyers can get up to Rs 10,000 exchange value on their old working smartphones, while purchasing the new Le 1s or get up to Rs 21,000 exchange bonus on Le Max purchase.
