Xiaomi, which is set to kick off pre-festive promotional campaign—"Diwali with Mi sale"—next week, announced to reduce the price of popular smartphone series.
The company has assured to slash Rs. 1000 of Redmi Note 3 (32GB) and Mi Max. Both the devices originally cost Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively. Both the Redmi Note 3 and the Mi Max are the most cost-effective smartphones in the mid-range category in India and were among best sellers in both Amazon's and Flipkart's recently concluded–"Great Indian Sale" and "Big Billion Days" sale. We reviewed both the phones and they impressed us in almost all aspects.

Now, Xiaomi is hosting a separate Diwali sale offering Redmi Note 3 (32GB) and the Mi Max at discounted price of Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 13,999, respectively. The new price will be valid from October 17 to October 19.

The company is also hosting Re. 1 flash sale on Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3S Prime, Mi 4, 20,000mAh power banks, Mi Bluetooth speakers, Mi Band 2, provided the prospective buyers share the announcement on social media sites and register beforehand, to become eligible for the sale.

Besides the Re. 1 flash sale, Xiaomi is offering discounts on earphones, Bluetooth speakers, power banks, Mi Band 2 and also gift vouchers to consumers, who make a minimum purchase of Rs. 5,000.
