Xiaomi is only days away from launching the critically-acclaimed Mi 6X in India as Mi A2 – successor to the popular Android One Mi A1 smartphone. While the official unveiling is happening on August 8, where all the details about the phone's pricing and India-bound features in the phone will be revealed, details about the phone's availability in India has been confirmed.
Xiaomi has chosen Amazon.in as an exclusive online sales partner for the Mi A2 in India, and the e-commerce giant has already setup a micro-webpage to promote the phone's arrival. The product listing shows Mi A2's impressive camera capabilities using several samples shot on the phone, stock Android and a glimpse of international reviews of the phone.
There's already a great deal of anticipation for Xiaomi Mi A2 in India as it promises to bring significant upgrades over its predecessor. The phone's international pricing suggests it could be priced anywhere between Rs 18,000 and Rs 30,000 depending on the storage variant.
Xiaomi Mi A2 (Mi 6X) was launched in three variants, 4GB RAM paired with 32GB or 64GB storage and a high-end 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. It is clear that the India-bound Mi A2 will run stock Android as opposed to MIUI in the Mi 6X, but a recent report also revealed that the Mi A2 in India will support the latest Quick Charge 4.0, which could give 50 percent charge in just 15 minutes.

Xiaomi Mi A2 is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset, stock Android Oreo, and a 3,010mAH battery. The handset sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, which means there is no notch on the phone.
As for the optics, the Mi A2 comes with 12 MP Sony IMX486 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, 1.25µm pixel size and a 20MP Sony IMX376 with Artificial Intelligence on the back and a 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture. The few samples we've seen shows some impressive capabilities of the Mi A2, especially in the low light and portrait modes.
Additionally, the Mi A2 comes with a fingerprint scanner, dual SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, microSD card slot for additional storage and a USB Type-C port.
