Xiaomi in all probability is expected to unveil the new Mi 5s smartphone on 27 September. Now the latest information suggests that there will be two variants of the handset.
Chinese blog My Drivers, citing a company insider, has claimed that Mi 5s will be coming in two screen sizes, one a standard display, understood to be 5.15-inch with 64GB internal storage, and another model Mi 5s Plus with 5.7-inch screen having 256GB memory.
Tipsters also revealed that they will be priced ¥1,999 (approximately $300/€267/Rs 20,007) and ¥2,999 (approx. $450/€400/Rs 30,016), respectively. The leaked price details seem plausible considering Xiaomi's previous smartphones have all been most-effective, compared to rival products.
So far, Xiaomi has not made any official comment on the recent speculations.
Expected features of Xiaomi Mi 5s series:
Except the change in screen sizes and storage, rest of the features of Mi 5s series are said to remain same.
The Mi 5s series is said to house Qualcomm's advanced finger-print sensor, faster Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, 6GB RAM, 16MP camera+secondary snapper with dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), EIS (Electronics Image Stabilisation) and an 8MP front camera.
