It appears like Xiaomi's just announced devices, Mi 5s and Mi 5s Pro, will sell like hot cakes in the Chinese market – at least if one is to go by the number of registrations it has got ahead of its launch.
It is reported that Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Pro received nearly three million registrations in less than a day. However, it may be noted that registration is different from pre-orders, and it is to be seen if all the registered people end up buying the handset.
The Chinese technology giant unveiled Mi 5s and Mi 5s Pro in Beijing on Tuesday and they will be made available for purchase on Thursday at mi.com, Mi Home and JD.com. It is not known if the devices will be launched outside China.
