Xiaomi is finally going to make its flagship device Mi 5 available at a few major third party retailers in India. The company has announced on its Twitter page that the handset will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and TataCLIQ.
Xiaomi Mi 5 was exclusively available on the company's official website for India when it was launched in April via flash sale. India prospective buyers will now have more options to buy the flagship device.
The Mi 5 has three variants but only the 32GB storage and 3GB RAM model is currently available in India. It is priced at Rs. 24,999. The other variants that are yet to be released in the country are the 64GB internal memory and 3GB RAM model that is priced at 2,299 Yuan (around $351), and the 128GB storage and 4GB RAM model that comes with a price tag of 2,699 Yuan (around $413).
The device has a fingerprint sensor, sports a 5.15-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080 pixel (428 ppi pixel density), ans measures 144.6x69.2x7.3 mm in dimension. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI v7.0, 16MP Sony IMX298 main camera, 4MP front-snapper with 2µm pixel size and 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
