Xiaomi has reportedly released a new stability update to the recently released smartphone Mi 4i in India.
Technology blog Android OS.in has confirmed that the new MIUI v6.5 series firmware has been rolled out to the Xiaomi Mi 4i. The new update (build number: MIUI v6.5.3.0.LXIMICD) is said to be a massive 806MB in size. It is not a major update, rather a software patch to fix glitches found in the current version.
It reportedly fixes bugs in key apps like Weather, Contacts (SIM card import glitch), Lockscreen, and brings optimizations to Home screen (One-hand mode usage), Calendar, Status bar and Notifications bar. It also brings new customization options to the Block list app to enhance user experience.
As of now, the update is rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air); so, it will take a few days to reach all corners of the country.
