Xiaomi Mi 4i Flipkart Flash Sale 1.0 to go Live on 30 April in India [Update]

Xiaomi unveiled the new smartphone Mi 4i in India on 23 April. The handset will now be available on Flipkart from 30 April in flash sale.

The company has confirmed it has received about 3 lakh registrations for the Xiaomi Mi 4i flash sale. There is no word on how many units will be up for grabs. 

Going by the number of people registering for the sale, it is imperative for Xiaomi to stock at least 1 lakh units or more, like its Chinese peer Lenovo.

Anticipating huge response, Lenovo had stocked 1 lakh units of A6000 plus for the 28 April sale on Flipkart. Many fans will be hoping Xiaomi to make a similar arrangement.

64-bit class Processor:

Xiaomi Mi4i ships with the second generation 64-bit class based Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), manufactured by Qualcomm.

One advantage of having 64-bit processor is that the phone performance and RAM management will be optimized and efficiently used among the apps. Users are less likely to face lag during multi-tasking.

Secondly, new Android applications will rollout starting this year, with 64-bit architecture compliant codes, making Xiaomi Mi 4i future-proof.

Xiaomi Mi 4i comes with a price-tag of ₹12,999, making it the most affordable, full HD display-based smartphone in the market. With an aggressive price, Xiaomi Mi 4i is expected to stir up another storm in India's mid-range smartphone segment, like Mi3 did in India last year..
