And the Mi Wireless Charging Pad, which was unveiled a few months ago, comes with globally accepted Qi charging standard. It offers over-voltage surge protection, power protection, short circuit protection, temperature protection. It also delivers an output of up to 7.5W and supports Samsung Galaxy S9, Note9 series, Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus, iPhone X and later models.

Xiaomi's Meet Mi in the Box is one of those infotainment marketing events to get the word of mouth going among the consumers in the US. It is likely that the company will definitely take feedback from the attendees and get a feel of the market. Xiaomi too does the same with Mi Home experience stores in India, where it showcases several new products and based on the feedback steadily increase the product portfolio and Mi TV series one of the success story of Xiaomi. Within a couple of quarters after the launch, Xiaomi became the numero uno smart TV brand in India.
Similarly, Xiaomi has plans to bring to more products in the highly competitive US market, but it will be interesting to see how the company will be a fare against anti-Chinese brand sentiment, as its peers Huawei and ZTE have failed make their mark in the country.
