Chinese smartphone and gadget manufacturer Xiaomi is reportedly set to launch another power bank solution with a battery capacity of 16,000 mAh. According to VR Zone, the latest Power Bank will feature 50% more battery capacity comparing to the latest XIaomi Mi Power Bank 10400 mAh.
Prior to this, Xiaomi had launched two power bank devices that are available on Flipkart and a few other e-retailing stores. The power banks with a battery capacity of 5200 mAh and 10,400 mAh are being offered at throw-away prices. But as phones' battery capacity rises, it becomes necessary to increase the capacity of the power bank as well. Particularly, those who use too many gadgets, require more offline charging solutions.
The Mi 16000 mAh power bank should be able to charge the latest Samsung flagship phone Galaxy Note 4 about four-and-a-half times. Please note, the battery life of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is 3220 mAh and works for around one-and-a-half days in a single charge. That means the latest Mi 16000 mAh power bank should be able to give you a battery life of one-and-a-half weeks.
According to Xiaomi, this power bank solution will go on sale this on 11 November at a launch price of ₹994 approx. (99 Yuan). The next day onwards, the power bank will be available at the regular price of ₹1295 approx. (129 Yuan).
The Mi 5200 mAh and Mi 10400 mAh power banks are currently available for ₹599 and ₹999, respectively. The latest 16000 mAh is expected to be priced a little higher, yet it would still be cheaper than several other oflline charging solution available in the market.
