Xiaomi to Host Mi 4i Dark Grey Flash Sale on 16 June

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to host the Mi 4i Dark Grey model flash sale in India on 16 June.

Besides the Dark Grey Mi 4i model, Xiaomi will also be selling Mi Band fitness tracker and Mi Power Bank (5000 mAh) at 2:00 pm on Tuesday (HERE).

What's interesting about this flash sale is that this is the first time Xiaomi is conducting the sale on its own official e-store (Mi.com/in). This is believed to be the company's first step towards cutting cords with third-party e-commerce firms and become self reliant.

As of now, white Xiaomi Mi 4i flash sale will continue on Flipkart, whereas the Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 2 have been made available on Amazon India and Snapdeal via open sale. After setting up a larger warehouse and chalking out an efficient delivery system, Xiaomi will gradually start exclusively selling all these aforementioned devices on its official e-store.

For the uninitiated, the smartphone sports a 5.0-inch full HD screen and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS (with MIUI), backed by the second generation Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC, Adreno 405 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and a high-capacity 3120 mAh battery that can power the phone for close 1.5 days.
