Holi is around the corner and major mobile handset-makers are participating in the celebrations by offering deals and offers. Xiaomi made a series of announcements through its official Twitter handles ahead of the widely-celebrated festival of colours in India.
Xiaomi released new mobile accessories in bright colours to commemorate the core value of the festival of colours, which would be celebrated nationwide Thursday, March 24. The company's best-selling Redmi Note 3 smartphone will be on sale for the third time in India March 23, a day after the handset's colourful cases along with Mi Bluetooth speakers and Mi Power Banks go on sale Tuesday.
Redmi Note 3 flip cases would be available in orange, blue and black for Rs 349 each, which is Rs 50 off from the original price. The company would also sell Redmi Note 3 hard case in blue for Rs 269. Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker in blue and gold hues would also be available for Rs 1,999 along with the 10,400mAh Mi Power banks in white, blue, silver, pink and black colours for Rs 1,099.
All products would be sold exclusively on Xiaomi's official online store and the company has dedicated a webpage just for Holi 2016 offers. The sale begins 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The third Redmi Note 3 flash sale commences Wednesday at 2 p.m. and registrations for the sale are mandatory on Amazon India and Mi.com/in. Sadly, the upcoming sale will not have the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant on sale, so buyers can only purchase the 2GB RAM/16GB storage model of the Note 3.
The Redmi Note 3 16GB variant costs Rs 9,999 and offers features like a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 16MP primary camera with dual-tone flash, a 5MP front-snapper, a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, an Adreno 510 GPU and a 4,050mAh battery. The handset boasts a metal body and sports a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.
