It has been some time since we heard any new update for Xbox One users, especially the more privileged Xbox One preview. But, Mike Ybarra, Microsoft's director of programme management for Xbox, has reportedly hinted at some new content for members of the Xbox One preview programme.
Ybarra was pressed for information by a fan, who was excited to know what Xbox One preview programme users must expect. He requested Ybarra to share some information. Ybarra replied with just a "Pay attention next week" tweet.
Microsoft had told Xbox users its engineers would be on leave during Holiday season, much like the rest of the people. Hence there was no new Xbox One update in December 2015 or January 2016.
Ybarra had previously shared a Twitter video that many reports said was a tease on what to expect for Xbox One preview members.
The new feature he teased lets players view party members before they are invited. Attack of the Fanboy notes that this feature was removed when the new dashboard was released.
November 2015 saw several new features being added to Xbox One. One feature that has been a fan-favourite is Xbox One backward compatibility.
The Xbox One preview programme has been available since 2014 and allows its users, who are made members via invites only, to check the new updates that come to Xbox One. Preview members get them a month later.
