Xbox One's popular feature Xbox One Backward Compatibility has received five games to its ever increasing roster list. The new games were revealed to be "Altered Beast," " The Cave," "Comix Zone," "Double Dragon: Neon" and "Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime."
Major Nelson aka Larry Hryb, director of programming at Microsoft, revealed it via his twitter posts.
"Altered Beast" is a 1998 arcade game from developer Sega. Players will have to follow a centurion who can use power-ups, in his bid to rescue Zeus' daughter Athena.
"The Cave" is a 2013 puzzle platformer from developer Double Fine Productions and publisher Sega. The game features a talking cave with series of tunnels where the character is lured to explore his/her darker personality traits.
"Comix Zone" is a 1995 arcade-style game from developer Sega Technical Institute. The game is set in the panels of a comic book and is an action platformer game.
"Double Dragon: Neon" is a 2012 beat 'em up type of video game from developer WayForward Technologies. The player will be in control of two martial artists as they fight to rescue another character from the clutches of a gang.
"Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime" a 2011 action-adventure video game from developer Behaviour Santiago and publisher Atari.
The Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature was introduced in November 2015 update, and since then the roster list has seen a gradual increase in numbers. This feature allows Xbox One users to play Xbox 360 video games on their Xbox One console.

Apart from announcing the games for Xbox One Backward Compatibility list, Hryb also announced "Xbox Live Games with Gold" for May 2016 in his blog, which includes the following games:
Xbox One:
- "Defense Grid 2" ($14.99) – This game will be available for free in May.
- "Costume Quest 2" ($14.99) – This game will be available for free download from May 16 to June 15.
Xbox 360:
- "GRID 2" ($24.99) - This game will be available for free to Xbox Live Gold members from May 1 to May 15.
- "Peggle" ($9.99) - This game will be available for free to Xbox Live Gold members from May 16 to May 31.
