To commemorate completion of two successful years of offering free titles to Xbox Live Gold members, Microsoft has come up with a double bonus treat beginning next month.
Members of Xbox Live Gold will receive free access to four new games each month, two each for Xbox One and Xbox 360, Microsoft has announced on its official Xbox Wire blog.
The free titles are being offered only for a limited time, in line with the 'Games with Gold' programme.
Xbox One owners will have the freedom to download the offered game for free for a full month, while Xbox 360 owners will get a 15-day window to get started.
A new title will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners on the 1st and 16th of every month.
Microsoft is also offering some of the biggest hits for free on both the Xbox platforms.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which is usually sold at $29.99, will be offered free for Xbox One Gold members from 1 to 31 July. In addition, Xbox One Gold members will get free access to popular puzzle game So Many Me from 16 July to 15 August. The title otherwise sells for $14.99.
Xbox 360 Gold members will also be treated with some of the greatest hits. Third-person shooter game Gears of War 3 and tower-defence extravaganza Plants vs. Zombies will be offered to members of 'Games with Gold' programme.
The $14.99 worth Plants vs Zombies will be available for download from 1 July to 15 July on Xbox 360 and the Gears of War 3 ($19.99) will be out on 16 July until 31 July for free.
In addition to free titles, Xbox Live Gold members will be treated with impressive discounts on select content each week. By offering up to 75 percent discount on popular games, 'Games with Gold' brings more value to the programme.
This week, The Crew titles are offered at 50 percent discount alongside Evolve, Another World and Blue Estate on Xbox One.
Xbox 360 owners can take advantage of 'Deals with Gold' to pick up GTA V for $24.99, GTA IV for $3.99, GTA: San Andreas for $3.74 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for $4.99.
