Microsoft is bringing the Black Friday sensation to India around the same time as it goes live in the United States. The Redmond-based software titan confirmed that the Xbox Store Black Friday deals will go live for Xbox Live Gold members in India starting 20 November, and for all other users starting 24 November.
"India will get the Black Friday sale starting tomorrow on Xbox Live. Initially open to Xbox Live Gold members only and starting coming Tuesday open to all," a Microsoft representative told Gadgets 360.
The Black Friday sale will also apply to a wide range of games offering up to 40 to 60% discount and an additional 10% off for Gold members, Microsoft noted on its US Black Friday site.
"Xbox Live Gold members get early access to Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital game deals starting November 20, 2015, with up to 40-60% off select titles, including a deeper discount of up to 10%," the text reads.
Gold members get several privileges, which comes at a cost of Rs. 2,240 for one year in India.
Microsoft did not reveal any offer on titles but Gadgets 360 deciphered the video and found some titles that will carry heavy discounts such as Assassin's Creed, Batman: Arkham Knight, Gears of War, and The Witcher 3. Clearly, the discounts will not be limited to just these titles as over 150 games will be on sale starting Friday.
The Xbox Digital Black Friday sale will run through the week and end with weekend exclusives on 27 November.
