"X-Files Revival" is not set to premiere on Fox before January 2016, but the buzz around the much-anticipated, six-episode revival of the sci-fi franchise is running wild. The latest report points towards a leaked title of the premiere episode.
It was announced in March this year that "The X-Files" will make a comeback after a 13-year hiatus, with Agent Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson). Since then, plot rumours and shooting update about "X-Files Revival" have been appearing online every now and then.
The latest buzz is that the title of Episode 1 of the upcoming sci-fi series has been revealed through a leaked production call sheet. A call sheet is something that cast and crew members of movies and television shows use daily to know their day-to-day shooting schedule, scenes to be filmed and related things.
A call sheet leak is a common thing and this time around, it's the call sheet from the sets of "X-Files Revival" that has been posted on a rumour blog called X-Files News.
Apparently, this call sheet is dated 16 June, 2015 and it assumes that the episode is likely to be called "My Struggle", which has been written by Chris Carter.
Going by the call sheet, it looks like there will be two flashback scenes shot at the parking garage of the North Shore Winter Club, which doubles as the parking garage of the hospital. The scene features both Scully and Mulder.
The description also hints that the scene involves "sharp medical tools pressed into men, women and children, a clean shaven doctor (played by Giacomo Baessato) inoculating abductees with alien blood."
Well, this is not the first time "X-Files Revival" has witnessed leaks. The first set photos from Fox's "The X-Files" reboot series revealing David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson shooting in Vancouver, Canada was leaked earlier this month.
The images gave complete look of the actor's character as they reprise their roles as Agent Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Another set of behind-the scene photos of "X-Files Revival" revealed the crew's shooting scenes at night in Ashcroft, Columbia. It showed a flying saucer embedded in the ground and the scene looks like a UFO crash site.
"The X-Files" returns as six-episode mini-series "X-Files Revival" on Fox on Sunday, 24 January, 2016 with Agent Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson).
