All reality television shows have some shocking elements, and "The X Factor" UK 2015 is no exception. On Sunday, one of the most promising acts of this season, Seann Miley Moore, was sent home along with fellow contestant Keira Weathers.
Hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack announced on Sunday's elimination episode Keira Weathers from Rita Ora's GIRLS got the least number of public votes, and so was out of "The X Factor" UK. She sung "Return Of The Mack" by Mark Morrison during the Live Show performance, but received mixed response from the judges. She was in bottom three in the previous week, too, so the audience seemed to have thought she didn't do enough to stay in the competition.
Then it was announced that Mason Noise, who performed "Teardrops" by Womack & Womack, and Seann Miley Moore, who rendered "California Dreamin'" by The Mamas And The Papas in the Live Shows, were placed in the bottom three, which meant they had to perform a song each for survival.
Seann sang "A Song For You" by Andy Williams for survival, and it was a very good performance. Mason performed "End Of The Road" by Boyz II Men, and it was ok. So, it looked like Seann would be safe. However, the reality was different. They were tied after judges Simon and Cheryl voted for Seann, but he was eliminated from the show.
It was disappointing for the simple reason that Seann's survival performance was much better than that of Mason's. In fact, Seann should not have been in the bottom three as he put up a good show in the Live Shows. His departure from the show could upset the audience.
Contestants who were through to next week's Live Shows are Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray, Monica Michael, Che Chesterman, Mason Noise, 4th Impact, Reggie N Bollie, Anton Stephans and Max Stone.
