"The X Factor" UK 2015 has been trimmed to just 24 finalists after 40 of the contestants who survived the Boot Camp were sent packing during the Six Chair Challenge episodes that run through three weeks.

Mentors of the show -- Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (Cheryl Cole), Simon Cowell, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw – chose six acts each for their respective teams and they will now perform at the judges' houses with the hope of making it to the next round.
