Back in September 2018, there was a lot of jitteriness and uneasiness over the future of Daniel Bryan in WWE as his contract had expired. However, putting to bed all rumours of him walking out of the company, Bryan has announced that he has now signed a new contract and which officially binds him for the next 3 years.
This revelation was made on 'Total Bellas' by Daniel Bryan himself when he was speaking with Brie Bella. This means that he will be under the WWE umbrella until September 2021. Bella tried to coax Bryan into roping in a new manager, but the superstar wanted nothing to do with the suggestion.
However, the contract length is an interesting development, since he has just recovered from an injury layoff. Three years is quite a long time and if he suffers another mishap, he will be stuck with WWE even if he is cleared by external doctors.
It should be mentioned here that it was made mandatory for him to see a doctor after every match to ensure his well being and so far he has pulled up all right.
Injury concern to Seth Rollins
In another interesting update, reports suggest that Seth Rollins has been suffering from a back injury and hence WWE is cotton wrapping him ahead of the marquee WrestleMania match in which he is slated to feature. Rollins won the Royal Rumble, which makes the Kingslayer a big attraction come the grandest stage of them all.
With the health concern to Roman Reigns, WWE has already identified Seth Rollins as their top star and he will take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35. After his match with Dean Ambrose on RAW, he has not made an appearance on television.
If reports from SEScoops is anything to go by, the company has decided to pull Rollins from advertisements for all upcoming live events until the April 1 episode of RAW. This could well mean an increased number of backstage segments, interviews and promos with Paul Heyman.
