The road to Survivor Series 2016 is here. Monday Night Raw on November 7 is expected to be very vital in terms of building up ahead of the mega pay per view event, which holds the mother of all clashes, Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar.
While that match will be the all-important one, let's not forget the fight between Team Raw and Team SmackDown Live. After several years, this match is listed on the fight card, thanks to the recent brand split.
This edition of the Monday Night Raw takes place at the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
Here's what are the major things we can expect from the show
A mini-reunion of the Shield: sans Dean Ambrose, we mean. In an unlikely alliance, last week's ending of Monday Night Raw saw Seth Rollins run up to the ring in order to help his former tag team partner Roman Reigns from the hands of WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, who are building quite a reputation for themselves as allies.
While Rollins and Reigns did not shake hands after Jeri-Ko were knocked out of the ring by Rollins, the meeting of eyes between Reigns and Rollins showcased respect for each other. The best thing was there was a huge pop from the crowd when the unlikely meeting took place in the ring last week.
It remains to be seen now if Mick Foley, general manager of Monday Night Raw, schedules a main event featuring the team of Jericho and Owens against the former Shield members.
The Goldberg-Brock Lesnar saga: It is kept under wraps as to what would take place on the ongoing saga in this edition of the show, but all we know is neither Goldberg nor Lesnar is expected to appear at the Glasgow event. Maybe, Paul Heyman could make an appearance or Rusev, who got slammed by Goldberg last week, could come out to address last week's events.
Last member of Team Raw for Survivor Series 2016 could be announced
The 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men's Elimination Match has just one member missing from Team Red (Monday Night Raw) and it could be announced in some hours.
Team Raw so far: Kevin Owens, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho.
Team SmackDown Live: AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Baron Corbin.
