WWE 2K17, the newest wrestling game on the block, is now available to gamers owning Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 consoles across the world. The USP of the title, this time around, is the fact that Goldberg is one of the playable characters along with featuring an updated roaster.
With players enthusiastically testing out Goldberg, it seems that there is a glitch in the game that prevents players from jumping off the top rope and thereby transferring control back to the opponent.
This glitch, in WWE 2K17, has been discovered by a game tipster who has displayed it via a new YouTube video available for public viewing.
In the video, it is evident that the masked character (Sin Cara), desirous of executing an aerial manoeuvre on Stardust (the opponent character), is stuck on the top rope while trying to jump-off in a bid to finish-off the opponent. Vociferous boos from the audience can also be clearly heard. While Sin Cara tries to execute the aerial move, Stardust is seen getting back onto his feet and attacking Cara.
Sin Cara's struggles on the top rope are clearly an imminent result of the glitch that prevents aerial execution of wrestling moves.
At first sight, it seems that the player's (playing the in-game character Sin Cara) ability to execute top rope finishing moves is severely limited. Only a closer examination throws light on the glitch affecting in-game gameplay.
While this could now have been fixed, there is also every possibility of new WWE 2K17 copies shipping without the top-rope issue. Therefore, gamers can let us know if the glitch was encountered during gameplay.
