Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most chilled out Bollywood celebs, and he is often praised for his subtle way of hitting back at his trolls. He did something exactly same yet again.
Director Anurag Kashyap made an announcement on Tuesday night with a tweet saying the film Manmarziyaan that also features Abhishek will be premiered at TIFF before its official release.
While several congratulated the team, one person commented on the tweet, mocking Abhishek Bachchan and Karan Johar. The troll demeaned Abhishek as an actor, and did the same for KJo as director.
"From K.K.Menon to John Abraham to Abhay deol to Manoj Bajpayee to Nawazuddin sidaqi to Ronit roy to Vicky kaushal...All Great choices. But wtf Abhishek bacchan ? r u suffering from K.Jo syndrom? Its all about loving the film stars?? [sic]," the troll tweeted.
Scriptwriter Kanika Dhillon first came out in support of his team, and gave a befitting reply to the troll. "What syndrome are you suffering from my friend ? 'I am retarded - syndrome- so pls ignore my stupid -pointless questions' ...?! Hmmmm... [sic]," she tweeted.
Abhishek then responded to the troll with a sarcastic tweet saying, " yay, he called me a film star!!! [sic]."
The troll did not stop there and further attacked them saying, "I meant 'son of film star'. K Jo ke friend circle me aane se choices bhi K Jo type ho gayi hai... Ranbeer, Abhishek.. what next? Tushar kapoor?? [sic]."
Showing his witty self again, AB replied to it very gently saying, "Oh... You "meant"... Chalo, I'll consider it a Freudian slip. And BTW @TusshKapoor would be a great choice. [sic]"
Meanwhile, another person tried to target Abhishek by questioning his source of income to maintain the lavish lifestyle despite being off screen for long time. "Not worked for last 3 years but has money for vacation ! How ? [sic]," one tweeted to him.
Keeping his calm intact, the Guru actor explained to him saying, "Because, sir, I have several other businesses that I run apart from acting and producing movies. Sports being just one of them. [sic]"
Well, Abhishek certainly knows how to handle the trolls without losing temper or being harsh.
