From cropping her hair short to establishing her sexuality as fluid, she is no longer the Disney child artiste so many knew and loved. Even until the MTV VMAs 2015, Miley was in her element and expressed her personality through her clothes, which barely covered her breasts. However, the pasties-wearing singer looks quite different now. She seems to be growing out her hair and her new look is almost reminiscent of the old Miley.
While many wonder the reason for the drastic change in her look, a recent report on Hollywood Life suggests Miley's new do represents her desire to get back with ex Liam Hemsworth.
Fans of the "Wrecking Ball" singer would remember that Miley chopped her hair short after their split and donned the hairstyle for years. A source close to the singer said the reason she cut her short was partly due to the break-up. The source added that Liam loved her long hair.
Hollywood Life quoted the source as saying: "She hasn't come out and said she's growing it out to get him back, but they're talking again and she's still got fantasies of them getting back together and living happily ever after so it makes sense that she'd want to impress him."
However it could also be someone else who has caught Miley's fancy. After all, the 23-year-old singer has said her sexual preferences are not limited to one particular gender.
