Akshay Kumar-starrer "Housefull 3," which opened to negative reviews, has shown a positive growth at the worldwide box office in two days. The film has been smashing records of Akshay's last release "Airlift" at the worldwide box office.
Starting from the domestic opening day box office collections to overseas earnings, "Housefull 3" has fared better than "Airlift" in just two days. The comedy drama minted Rs. 31. 51 crore compared to Rs. 26.95 crore two-day collection by "Airlift."
"Housefull 3" is now looking forward to record the second best opening weekend box office collection after Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan." However, it remains to be seen whether the film will cross Rs. 50 crore mark at the domestic box office.

The film has recorded a good opening at the overseas venues as well. Sajid-Farhad's directorial minted Rs. 13.36 crore from the international market in one day. And after a good opening day, the film showed a growth on its second day in big international circuits.

The domestic and overseas earnings have helped "Housefull 3" to put up a good two-day show at the box office. The worldwide box office collection of "Housefull 3" stands at Rs. 44.87 crore.
Directed by Sajid-Farhad, "Housefull 3" features Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles. The comedy-drama also has Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey in pivotal roles.
