Kerala

Mysore
Mysore, the third largest city in Karnataka, was once ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty. The major attractions of the city include the historic Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Srirangapatna, Tipu Sultan fort, St Philomina's Church, Mysore Zoo and Brindavan Gardens, among others. The best time to visit Mysore is during the Dasara festival, which falls during the month of September or October.
