She was first seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and now, Gal Gadot will return as Wonder Woman in her first standalone movie releasing in less than two weeks. Covering her roots, love, first villain and building up to Justice League, the movie plays an important role in DCEU's future.
The movie stands important as it acts as a bridge to Justice League. But the question is, will the film give us a small peek into the November release?
If you look at the post-credits scene perspective, there will be some disappointments for fans. Not following the usual norms of attaching an after movie scene, Wonder Woman makers have out-rightly refused to feature a post credits scene.
"I'm not going to say we'd never do one. There was one in Suicide Squad. But I don't think that we want to feel that we're forced to do something just because we didn't in the past," producer Charles Roven told CinemaBlend.
Unlike Marvel movies that attach post credit scenes, pushing fans to wait for a sneak peek into another movie, DC and Warner Bros experimented with the style in Suicide Squad. Other movies from the production house like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did not feature an extra scene either.
But that doesn't imply that a Justice League spoiler will not be dropped. While there were speculations that Ben Affleck's Batman aka Bruce Wayne will make an appearance in the Gal Gadot's movie, there are high likeliness that a Justice League bomb will fall around or post the Wonder Woman release.
For those of you who remember the Monday after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice release, Zack Snyder had dropped a huge-a** deleted scene that featured the main villain of Justice League, Steppenwolf. Stepping out of Marvel's patented style, DCEU shocking step had announced the League's arrival.

Following the release, director Zack Snyder had told CinemaBlend that the unique release was an important change in style. "That scene was our way of ... I felt like, 'Oh, that'd be a cool after-credits sequence, but then I was like, 'I don't know. Can I do that?' Because Marvel does that. Is that a thing? We were like, 'Oh, maybe there's another way to do it."
Considering Justice League is Snyder's baby, he would go to any extend to surprise fans. But what will he do now? Will he replicate the same style or will he release a new Justice League trailer showing a good look at the villain?
We'll have to wait and watch. But DC fans, be prepared, something is definitely coming.
Wonder Woman releases on June 2.
