Actor Hugh Jackman just revealed an interesting update about his upcoming and much-awaited film Wolverine 3. Jackman recently said that the third instalment in the Wolverine series will have a different tone.
Jackman also revealed that the first look of the final Wolverine movie will be released in the next week. The shooting of the film has already been wrapped up and now director James Mangold is working on the editing part.
"We've finished shooting. I just saw Jim Mangold today. He's editing away and finishing that," he told EntertainmentTonight.
"There's going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That's all I'll say. I'm not good. I'm the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically, it's going to be very different. Very different in tone and hopefully different to anything we've done."
Reports suggest that the third instalment will focus on the Old Man Logan comic storyline and it will be set in the post-apocalyptic future, where supervillains will take control over the world.
Producer Simon Kinberg confirmed that the tone of the film will be different this time. He said that the third instalment will be R-rated and "kind of like a Western." The film also features Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier aka Professor X.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that the trailer of the film might release with Fox's next major release, Assassin's Creed. However, there has been no official announcement about the same.
The Wolverine 3 is scheduled to hit theatres in the US on March 3 2017. The film also features Boyd Holbrook, Richard E Grant, Stephen Merchant and Elise Neal.
