Freya and Killian might not be together now, but that does not mean their relationship is done and dusted.
A promo of the upcoming episode titled "Boogie Knights" will give viewers a blast from Frillian's past. The footage shows Freya, played by Jenna Dewan-Tatum, showing off her dancing moves as Killian looks at her awestruck.
She gradually lures him on to the dance floor, but Freya soon realises that someone is staring at them in envy.
While the two are all over each other in the blast from the past footage, things are strained between them in the present world due to the presence of Killian's current lover, Eva.
Frillian will live forever and "it happens in all different forms throughout the whole season," Dewan-Tatum told TVLine in an interview. "But we have lots of, you know, obstacles to overcome."
At present, Eva is her biggest obstacle. "It's fun for Freya to get to sort of be in the reverse role this season," Dewan-Tatum said. "She's like the heartbroken one who's pining over Killian."
In the meantime, Ingrid and Dash also appear to get closer, and she realises that they are more powerful as a team.
"She's watching him go through something that she so recently experienced of stepping into her powers, and now she's watching Dash and Killian embrace who they are and figure out how to use it so there's that connection," Rachel Boston, who plays Ingrid, said. "And then when we find out our similarities, I do think we're very much strong together in many different ways."
The upcoming episode will also explore Ingrid's relationship with Mandragora, the one who killed the people in East End.
As per the spoilers of "Boogie Knights," Wendy will put aside her differences with Frederick to stop the Mandragora from killing another person. But it is not going to be easy, as Ingrid's relationship with the creature intensifies, despite escalating body count.
The official synopsis of the episode reads: "Freya relives one of her past lives with Killian. Dash does a spell at work without realizing the consequences. Joanna seeks the help of an old friend, Alex. Wendy and Freddie work together to try and stop the Mandragora while Ingrid's bond with it grows stronger."
"Witches of East End" Season 2 Episode 5 "Boogie Knights" will air on Sunday, 10 August 2014, on Lifetime.
