We are nearing the final release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Geralt's new playground is said to be 30pct more than that of Skyrim and easily the biggest open world since the inception of the Witcher series. However, it seems like the open world of the game isn't the only "big" thing players (on consoles) will be treated to.
According to reports, The Witcher 3 is set to arrive with a huge chunk of day one update for the game. The size of the updates (including what the updates are meant for) will depend upon your choice of console – Xbox One or PS4.
While you will find the patch notes for the update on PS4 listed below, the one that's meant for Xbox One deals more with introducing improved graphical standards to the game. The new patch is said to bring support for dynamic resolution scaling, apart from shifting the resolution between 900p and 1,080p, as per the game's demands.
However, before the day one patches for the game are pushed out by the developers, it seems like a number of eagle-eyed fans have already found a few problems, related to the updates. These include issues with playback of pre-rendered cutscenes, texture filtering and more.
Here's a list of improvements that will arrive for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, running on the PS4:
