A brand new Witcher 3 patch is on the cards to solve a host of issues in the game running on next generation consoles. Marcin Momot of CD Projekt has confirmed the upcoming patch 1.07 will be a big one in terms of fixing several issues in the game, suggest reports.
"The 1.07 is actually going to be a pretty large patch. We are already working on it. It's not going to be too long before it comes out. Can't talk about the detailed list of changes but it will features A LOT of fixes," Momot said on the game's official forum.
Many PS4 and Xbox One users are currently awaiting the release of Patch 1.05 for the game. However, the patch is not coming this week, as confirmed by Momot on Twitter. The delay has angered a number of fans, who say the devs prefer PC over consoles.
But as we all know, that is not the case, since console patches require more time to be certified than the PC ones. "Consoles have some other issues (some are really time consuming to fix) and we want to make sure everything works as intended when released," Momot said.
"We ask for a little bit more patience. After 1.05 there will be a huge patch coming up next (it's already in the works)," he added.
Momot assured by saying, "We have not abandoned this issue – we are working on addressing it."
The Witcher 3 is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
