Earlier this month it was revealed that actor Wilmer Valderrama will be appearing on ABC's medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," and now additional details about his role has been revealed.
Valderrama will play a character named Kyle Diaz and he will appear in multiple episodes. According to ABC's description of the April 7 episode titled "I Wear the Face," the actor will be playing a musician who is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.
The official synopsis reads: "Meredith goes on an ambulance ride with Owen and Nathan to pick up a heart for a transplant patient. Musician & MS patient Kyle Diaz is admitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a tremor in his hand, and the residents apply for the Preminger Grant. Meanwhile, Catherine continues to insert herself into Jackson and April's business against Richard's wishes."
Promotional photos of the episode released online show Valderrama as Kyle impressing neurosurgeon Amelia and her residents Stephanie and Penny with his strumming. It remains to be seen if any of the doctors at Grey Sloan will fall for his charm. At present, Stephanie seems to be the only one who isn't involved with anyone.
Meanwhile, this Thursday's episode will see Meredith going on a date with Will. Based on the promo video for "When It Hurts So Bad," she will end up sleeping with him, and then regrets her impulsive action soon after. In the clip she is heard screaming at him to get out of her house.
Elsewhere in the episode, we'll see Maggie and DeLuca having a serious conversation about their relationship.
You're avoiding me," she says in the promo. "I've called, you haven't answered."
"It's just been a really busy day," he says, trying to explain why he hasn't answered her calls.
"Sure, in a marathon surgery that got cancelled," she says. "What's really going on here?"
"OK, look, I'm very busy," Maggie says when DeLuca doesn't answer. "I have many, many things on my plate. I don't have time or patience to play childish guessing games. Do you want to be with me or not?"
The clip ends before we hear DeLuca's answer.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays on ABC.
