HMD Global is maintaining utmost secrecy on its upcoming ultimate flagship, dubbed Nokia 9, but this strategy seems to have created more room for rumourmongers to speculate. Several details, including the release date and key specifications, have been leaked over the last few weeks, and now it has appeared that the handset could boast of a dual selfie camera.
There are contradicting reports on the release date of Nokia 9, with a section of news outlets suggesting that it would see the light of day early next year before being released into the market at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, while Chinese website My Drivers has claimed that it would be launched on January 19, 2018, along with Nokia 8 (2018).

The device has already been cleared by 3C certification in China, and now has been spotted on the US government-run FCC (Federal Communication Commission), hinting that its release may not be far off.
Now, something interesting about Nokia 9 has emerged. Hub91Mobiles has reported that official renders of the device have been leaked with the selfie camera setup. It contradicts earlier reports that it would mount a 13MP+13MP dual camera with Zeiss Optics on the rear, and a 13MP front-snapper.
The device is also expected to sport either a 5.46-inch or a 5.5-inch QHD OLED edge-to-edge display with 18: 9 aspect ration and 1,440x2,560 screen resolution. It may also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Snapdragon 845 processor, Android 8.0 Orea OS, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal memory (with microSD card slot).
