John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha will sizzle in their upcoming film "Force 2" in the recreation of an iconic romantic song from Bollywood. The two will reportedly step into the shoes of Sridevi and Anil Kapoor to recreate the song "Kaate Nahi Kat Te" from the '80s film "Mr. India."
The makers of "Force 2" are planning to add a romantic track in the action film. It will be interesting to see Sonakshi draped in blue chiffon to bring back Sridevi's memories from one of the most sensual songs of Bollywood.
"It's one of the highlights of the film and has been under production for two months. The singers are yet to be finalised but the scratch has been recorded. It will have a contemporary romantic flavour but the essence will be retained, as also Sridevi's blue chiffon sari and the setting," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.
The story of "Force 2" revolves around intelligence agencies of different countries, including India's primary foreign intelligence agency RAW and the Chinese intelligence agency, the ministry of state security. The makers wanted to shoot a few portions of the film in China, but the Chinese government reportedly denied permission to the team.
A sequel to the action film "Force" (2011), the movie will also feature Tahir Raj Bhasin, who is said to be playing an antagonist. The first schedule of the film, which is being directed by Abhinay Deo, was shot in Budapest.
Meanwhile, John will soon be seen in another action film, "Dishoom" alongside Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri. Sonakshi Sinha will appear next in AR Murugadoss' "Akira."
