Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest stars not only in India but all over the world. Recently, the actor met one of his biggest fans, Hollywood film "Matrix" director Lana Wachowski.
The filmmaker was in Mumbai, shooting an episode for her show "Sense8" Season 2. The Hollywood thriller drama also stars Indian actors Anupam Kher and Tina Desai. Before leaving Mumbai, Lana wanted to meet SRK as she is a fan of the actor and has watched nearly all of his films.
The "Fan" actor fulfilled her wish and met Lana and her sister Lilly Wachowski, according to Bollywood Life. The sisters are popularly known as The Wachowskis, who are film directors, screenwriters and producers. King Khan also posed with the sisters and the picture has now gone viral on social media.
SRK and Lana's meeting has sparked several speculations. Rumours are rife that Shah Rukh might star in Lana's film in future. Will SRK be interested to work in Hollywood project like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone? Only time will tell.
The Bollywood Baadshah will be seen next in "Fan," which is scheduled to be released April 15. In the Maneesh Sharma directorial, Shah Rukh plays double role – one character is of a Bollywood star and the other is of his fan.
The "Dilwale" actor is also coming up with another interesting project during Eid. Shah Rukh will be seen in Rahul Dholakia's "Raees" and it may clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan." SRK has also signed Gauri Shinde's film alongside Alia Bhatt, but he is not the lead actor in the flick.
It seems that after films like "Chennai Express," "Happy New Year" and "Dilwale," the actor has decided to do serious and challenging roles. After showing his skills as an obsessed fan in "Fan" and Gujarati bootlegger in "Raees," he will appear as a dwarf in Aanand L Rai's next.
"It sounds it (story)is just about dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story. I will be fool if I have Shah Rukh Khan in my film and have no romance and songs," Aanand told the Press Trust of India.
