Yash Raj Films has been churning out off-beat, content-driven films lately but that hasn't worked out too well for it. And so to reverse the effect the small ventures have had on the box office, YRF is now solely concentrating on big budget films.
The company has launched fresh faces and roped in starlets in the recent past but is now looking at investing in the superstars who can deliver big monetary figures, reported Bollywood Hungama.
Also, YRF may not hire any newcomers at the time strictly focusing on bringing home the box office numbers.
With Shah Rukh Khan ("Fan"), Salman Khan ("Sultan") and Hrithik Roshan ("Thug") doing films, the production house may finally shine bright like before.
So will the superstars' big screen charm come to YRF's rescue? Only time will tell.
However, another change that reportedly went awry was directors moving out of the banner to make super-hit films.
While SRK has wrapped up the Maneesh Sharma directorial and is mighty upset about it, Salman is reportedly working on his look for "Sultan" in which he will be seen essaying the role of a wrestler.
In other news, it was being said Hrithik's tentatively titled film "Thug" will feature Deepika Padukone, but the leading lady has denied reports of her receiving any such offer.
