Salman Khan has been embroiled in controversies for the longest time, and yet hasn't lost his cool. Making wise decisions, the actor has apparently put on hold his upcoming films, awaiting verdict on the hit-and-run case, on 6 May.
"Right now, Salman's entire focus is on the completion of these two films. He hasn't green-lighted other offers or given his dates to anyone," an insider informed Hindustan Times.
With the verdict being postponed often, there are chances of it being dragged further. So, what if it's pushed further? Will Salman not sign any film this year? Only time will tell.
The superstar is currently at the charming Kashmir valley, shooting for the remaining portion of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". He is scheduled to shoot a key war scene laced with some fierce stunts. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles, the film is slated for a 17 July release.
Interestingly, he has also declined offer to promote tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the actor has been simultaneously working on Kabir Khan's directorial and Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".
However, talking to DNA, Salman confirmed that he has a couple of projects lined up which he will take up once he is done with Kabir and Sooraj's films.
"I have Sooraj and Kabir's film now. Then I move on to No Entry Mein Entry. I also have YRF's Sultan and a film with Mahesh Manjrekar along with Karan Johar's Shuddhi," the suave actor said.
Additionally, there have been reports of the actor trying his hand at script-writing after "Veer" flopped at the box office.
"Salman himself has decided to write the script for Kick 2. He has a story in mind and Sajid too has liked it. Both of them have decided to take keen interest in the scripting of Kick 2," a source told the daily.
