Will Pawan Kalyan Surpass Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu, Siddharth in Number of Twitter Followers?

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who has amassed over 90,000 followers within 24 hours after he posted his first tweet, is likely to beat the record of Siddharth, Rajinikanth and Mahesh Babu in the number of followers soon.

Soon after creating his account on Twitter on 1 January, Pawan Kalyan wished all his fans a happy new year. In his first post, the Power Star wrote, "Wishing you all a very Happy New Year ! Peace and Good Health."

The first Twitter post of Pawan Kalyan has been retweeted by 11,000 people and favourited by 19,000 people. An hour after he tweeted, the hashtag #PawanKalyanOnTwitter started trending. As per social analytics Topsy, nearly 30,000 posts were floating on Twitter with this hashtag in 24 hours.

Siddharth is the most popular South Indian actor on Twitter. Having joined Twitter in July 2009, the actor has 1.33 million followers. Superstar Rajinikanth, who joined Twitter in May 2014, is in the second place with 1.28 million followers. Dhanush is in the third spot with 1.25 million followers.

Pawan Kalyan's rival Mahesh Babu, who is the next most popular Tollywood actor after the Power Star, joined Twitter in April 2010 and he has 1.05 million followers as of 1 January. Now, many in the film nagar are keeping their fingers crossed to know whether the "Attarintiki Daredi" star will beat all these records and how many days he will need to achieve this rare feet.
