Though he cast her in four of his movies, it seems popular Malayalam director Kamal was never happy with actress Meera Jasmine's behaviour on film sets.
She often used to pick fights with co-actors, assistants and technicians, Kamal wrote in an article published in the latest issue of Malayalam magazine, Madhyamam. Though he tried to correct her many times, Meera didn't heed his advice, the director said in the article titled "Meera Jasmine - Swayamasthamicha Pakal".
During the shooting of "Gramaphone", Meera had a clash with three-time National award winning costume designer SB Satheesh and tore up a dress he had chosen for her, Kamal says.
During the shooting of a Sathyan Anthikad-Mohanlal film, the actress kept the entire team, including Mohanlal, waiting and turned up at the set very late, the director recollects.
While working for "Minnaminnikootam", the National Film Award-winning actress had some issues with her brother and it affected the shooting of the film, following which Kamal told her he will never ever do any more films with her.
Kamal has been writing for the magazine for quite some time under the biographical section "Ente Veyil Njarambile Pachyaum Pookalum".
Meera had acted in "Gramaphone", "Swapnakoodu", "Perumazhakkalam" and "Minnaminnikoottam" directed by Kamal.
Meera, who had earlier planned to marry Mandolin Rajesh, later married Anil John Titus on 9, February, 2014.
